Busy every day right now into next week. Some slots open but in the meantime, thank you so much to those aboard!
We came off a day of Macks when normally we are hitting blues first then Spanish (and buddy this year, the blues got up and got on the go so not lots on that fish).
My crew was on the poles, out of the chairs, helping my younger anglers and on the run! I corralled one in the stay puff marshmallow man preserver but it didn’t stop him from being all over the cockpit! Macks on the docks it was!
We have fished that species hard this year due to the lack of water temps on the Northern Beaches. Chilly until just lately!
That has put us without a percentage of territory which means some townships are reaaaalllly seeing the boats this year lol. The one load up I did get on blues was with three guys who were re-setting their ocean clocks. That day the half day was enough as farther territory wasn’t holding a lot. It has changed but they made quick work and are now set to extend the next trip! Hope to see some of their family on the next go around but there is a big advantage to smaller groups; pole time!
We have run many extended trips (time and $) lately for a good bite that has gone from scattered to on fire to scattered to on fire various times!
Even mermaids like to get in on the action (but only until she has to return home again). I have more photos coming up! If you do not see your crew here know I am barely getting them edited and able to do my laundry at this point (hey, it is height of season and I am running!)so thank you for your patience!
I have slots next week: half days have been some Spanish etc. All days-some extended trips (time $) have seen some king marks but they are shoving hard in long range and you can get your feelings hurt on a small or no show if they keep moving. This is the typical summer showing so won’t be here long and then gone. Fishing is fishing and weather is whether. Thanks to those aboard!
