Frankly Scarlett …Gone was the wind

We got the reprieve. I cannot tell you how weathered we all were this week as forecasters gave us the merry “oh btw…10-15″ only to see gusty and “breezy.” Lol. Crews south were tied and we measured it all. It knocked out any trips off the beach at its height but that settled late week by Saturday.

We fished right through and know that crews all hit the walls on a slot or two. Winds put the big boys at the docks for two days and the nearshore on the push. This week’s highlights finally put limits of Spanish in my box. I had a determined crew who fished me under the rain and know what??? They smoked them!

Nice Spanish with the top of the limit was laid on that dock. First limits on this end for the summer on that fish ! Congrats Matt. :) All week back and forth on the wind with the whitecaps put us hard at work but my regulars are hilarious and they never let me leave work without a smile (thank you Allison) .

One of my guys even played tug of war with a small hammerhead (so of course we felt kind of bad for razzing him as to what was taking him so long to crank that mack). He did manage the better half.

We have done some casting of late-good updates coming on that as the traffic has now cleared down to a roar from what it was during the height of the holiday! Remember the new limits put fish back into the ocean that were legal last year!

We have openings this week and every day is different so just give us a call at home to schedule that and if there is a fish you are interested in best to speak with us to make sure it has migrated up! If we do not fish for it I would be glad to refer you. No worries.

Thank you to all those who keep me untied-we got more reports and photos still to come from this week!
