Most Frequently Asked and Answered !

Q:Can we book directly with you?

Yes! In fact this way you can speak with us, we can discuss what you may be interested in, concerns if any-this is the personal service that we like to do. You can’t get that from a general number when you want to speak with the crew. We are here to help and we want to have a good trip also! You can reach us during the day by cell at 242 423 0039 and at home in the evenings at 252 473 2398. Voicemail available.

Q: How do we pay?
We accept Visa/Mastercard for depoisits and balances.Personal checks only if booked far in advance. If you would prefer to pay in cash, the boat is held via credit card until we have taken the trip. Then we can credit your credit card.

Q: What do you offer?

We offer: Half Day Nearshore, All Day Nearshore, 3/4 Trips, and Third trip options.
**3/4 Trip and Third trip can only be booked through the captain. They are not offered through the marina. Need just a tour for hour or a bit? Speak with us personally.

Q: What do I bring?

Bring what you want to eat and drink in your cooler! Remember to pack a hat, sunglasses, sunblock and whatever you may need to be comfortable rain or shine.

Q: How many people can we bring?

You may have up to six people total in your group. This is a Coast Guard law for a six passenger for hire and no, it is not negotiable. It has nothing to do with whether the people actually fish or not. The USCG will tell you; “If it has a heartbeat, it’s a passenger.”

Q: Do I have to bring a full group?

No! The price you pay is for the entire vessel for the timeslot you want! Therefore, we have had as few as one angler who wanted to fish for a few hours by himself as well as couples, families with one or two children etc. Just make sure you are no more than six persons total in your group.

Q: Do you fish in the rain?

Yes! Living on the Outerbanks we will see fronts move through, sprinkles, which all means eventually the rain falls, we fish, then the sun comes out again. Also, we have been in sunshine as well while family members of our charters have been at the cottage in a rain cloud! The Outerbanks is like that!
