We are sprinting in attempts to get the last trips in prior to the cold front due Saturday! Payback from Mother Nature for all the pretty weather, the bites, the hook ups, the constant fishing we have had along the way.
Water and weather has been determining the bite and we have kept everything from trolling gear, to ribbon gear, to small shark leaders ready. You may not realize it but lots of fish have common food source and it is one of the reasons we can see a variety some times!
No matter what we are putting in 110% and believe it or not, the breeze continues oceanside even if you didn’t have it landside. There can be a difference.
A few blacktip and sharpnose shark are around which makes for a good pull. They are mixed with everything else.
We still had a shot on a cobia or two and I had a hilarious group that watched as one of them was cranking his in…and ..took no photo because their eyes looked like something out a Japanese Anime…remember release takes nothing away from hooking and cranking but when I looked at them you could tell. Shiny penny syndrome! lol
I have more photos coming but now tomorrow is the big push and then payback forecast for Saturday. If you are here enjoy and for those booked with me I am watching to see how long it blows! All that is here will be new again! I still have stories to tell…stay tuned
Thanks to those aboard! We appreciate it!
