Round two saw us no less occupied as we have enjoyed seeing second time customers, new customers, and customers I have fished thirty years ago. I am pretty sure my hair was a different color but they still found me!
It was the choice to be had as we hit the bottom for croakers, flounder, mullet, blues, and the like! My folks have done it all and they are always ready to shift it up and go to be on a bite. As the fleet pushed back oceanside it literally took a day before we could see our fish reorganize in a form to what we had prior to the blow.
Our one smooth puffer was definitely the biggest one we have caught in a while. We let it go as it was in warm water and we don’t take what we will not use. No teeth apparent….you know they kind of have that cartoon smiley face if you take a closer look…kids pointed that out…You can always release it all and that is what digital is for! I am missing the angler that gets the credit for the puffer! arghh! As we moved on into this week after a weekend off due to wind (two days is just right for doing all the work you have at your own home), we were seeing summer temps, nice breeze, fish back on the hook to where they should be, and work schedule falling into place.
That is what you hope for . All the gears hitting together. I have more photos on the roll still to come but know that as we were out today it was ribbons, still LOOKING for our spanish as they have not reorganized yet, occasional shark etc on half. Anything else right now will be a different trip time wise or distance wise. As we download it we will upload it here for you to see!
I have openings : Sat & Sun 1/2 or 3/4. Make it simple! Call us at 252 423 0039 cell and lets go while it is good!
