Changes. This feels a lot like Fall of late. Seattle seems to have our heat and we sit in 77F, NE breeze, and low humidity! This has been a cool summer, an interesting summer, an unusual type of summer in a way. We had lost our blues from May but the snappers reappeared here in the last ten days putting us back to buck tails and troll. Never let it be said my guys don’t own a rain poncho!
Our cabin is shelter as well but they put them on the dock regardless and it is the wind that dictates when, where, how far, how limited we may be when the water temps are good.
Triggers, blues, release a cobia for tomorrow or get one big enough to put in the box if you have some luck this late in the year.
Let your sibling help you hold it if you are not sure and it can be a job!I have some great semi-release crews who were kind enough to leave me some for my winter freezer. You would think we get them all the time but we do not.
Thanks to those who have let me get ready like a squirrel for the cold months! Triggers go to Brasilian stew, Macks to chipotle or fried depending on who is cooking at our place and blues eaten fresh for the taco or beer batter. Girls v Boys? Yep, I heard about it and my younger anglers did fantastic against the sage anglers on separate trips.
You all know I do encourage just being out there period as opposed to the competition gauntlet but it was fun and the girls made it so.
They got a good bite and did an inshore grand slam which was release small king, red drum, and mini me cobia lol.
I had just told Tim the odds were huge and darned if they didn’t . Hilarious! The point is; don’t make a list just go, have a good time, and let us do our best. Fishing changes ALL the time so hence ALL the tackle! I have more photos coming up and more to say. Thank you to those aboard with us no matter whether you were trigger fishing, blues, Spanish, the look around! Lets just get some pretty weather and hit it half days, 3/4 days (think 6am till 11;30 or 11:40 until 5+pm), or all days. We have many trips and slots so just call us to hook it up!
